Father Kastle blessed our rosaries at Ash Wednesday Mass. The kids were excited to have them blessed, and pleased that it got blessed on Ash Wednesday.

We discussed how the moon plays a role in the ocean tides. We discussed how the oceans have a higher density than fresh water. We tested the density of salt water by using an egg. We found that the egg sank in unsalted water and floated in the salt water.

We made and ocean scene  using water colors and salt!
